A very nice, pretty little park with friendly staff. It is a lovely location. However, had I not been merely "passing through" and there for only one night, I would have canceled and demanded a refund, even though I would have not been within the allowed time frame. After making our online reservation, we received the normal KOA confirmation and then we received a second, not official KOA email reservation confirmation directly from the park which stated, "We are a family friendly campground therefore, ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED for the comfort and safety of all our guests & staff. We are very serious about this policy and ask that you not bring it onto our property. This includes transferring it to another container or cup." I found this overbearing and it SHOULD have been stated on the KOA website, not added AFTER I have made my reservation. There is a sign on the registration desk to this effect as well, so I guess they ARE serious. Be forewarned if you enjoy a beer before or wine with your dinner.

Lovely landscaping. Very pretty greenbelt between the sites in the center area. Office personnel were very nice and helpful. The location is great, right off the Harbor Freeway and walking distance to a lot of attractions. Our only problem is that the sites are a bit tight for opposing slides. With slides out on both sides and the car parked beside the rig (the only place to park) we had no place to sit outside under our awning. In fact, there wasn't enough room to walk between the side of the rig and the car. Probably would have been just fine if we had slides on only one side or no slides at all. Rate paid is based on weekly rate.

Nice older park. Family owned and very friendly and helpful. Escort to our site stayed to make sure hook up went smoothly. No real amenities, but excellent park for "passing through" overnight. Easy to maneuver our 40 foot motorhome with toad into pull through site. At one dollar to wash and fifty cents to dry, this is the least expensive laundry we've ever seen in an RV park. Our rate was with the KOA "Value Card".

Absolutely beautiful place. Nice level concrete back-in sites with 30 amp service. There are some with 50 amp, but I didn't see them. Many sites are available for reservations, others are first-come first-served. Would be perfect with water hook up and even better (if that's possible) with sewer. Trees prevented satellite line of site, but local channels came in clearly with roof antenna. Pool is elsewhere in park. We stayed here while visiting friends in the area. Wish we could have just stayed and enjoyed the park more instead of visiting. Reservation system works well, be aware of service charge.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews. This isn't a modern, characterless, concrete type of RV park with all the amenities, but it was a lovely 4-day stay over 4th of July weekend. We got one of the few 50 amp w/sewer sites and had to jockey around a bit to get clear sight for our Satellite but had no problems getting to the site or set up. The roads ARE gravel, but we had no problem maneuvering within the park. Yes, the entry driveway is steep and narrow, but we never "dragged" on the way in. The owners are kind of "quirky" but very nice and helpful. They had the best fireworks show over the lake for the 4th that I've seen in many years. I really like the fact that there is a designated "adult" pool as well as a "family" one. We were visiting friends in Taylorsville and will definitely stay here again when visiting.

Very nice "basic" park. Long level pull thru sites with good hook-ups. No amenities to speak of, not a "destination" park, but a great place to stay over while visiting all of the local sites and caves. New owner (as of May 2008) is very friendly and helpful and is constantly upgrading the park. Hopefully those trees will grow up quickly.
